  • Dr. Rajpal Singh Kashyap visited Nottingham Digestive Diseases Centre and NIHR Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre from 2nd to 8th December 2017 to give a presentation for follow up of the Sanctioned Clostridium project and discussion for future work.
  • Dr. Kameshwari Konduri, MD, Pediatrics from Texas; USA visited CIIMS on 22nd June 2018 and was interested to collaborate with CIIMS for studies on Steroid application & CNS delivery using in house developed CNS animal model.
  • Dr. Julie Garnier and Dr. Sanjay Awaghate from Virbac Foundation, France visited CIIMS hospital on 26th July 2018 for One Health Project they wanted to implement in Melghat area with possible collaboration between CIIMS, MAHAN and NVC.

  • Organized one day workshop on �Culturing of Anaerobic Organisms� on 23rd June 2018 at 3rd floor conference hall and have invited Dr. Nitin Kurkurey, HOD department of Veterinary Pathology, NVC, Nagpur.
  • Research lab organized two days hands-on workshop on �Epidemiology and statistical Analysis used in Health Research" on 12th & 13th April 2018 at Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur, in association with National Institute of Miners� Health (NIMH), Nagpur & Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, under CMPDI project.
  • CIIMS Research Lab organized one day Research Showcase on 8th February 2018 at Hotel Center Point where all collaborators presented their research work.
  • CIIMS Research Lab organized one day International Conference on �Emerging Microbes and infection and its impact on Public Health� on 9th February 2018 at Hotel Center Point to disseminate the information on emerging microbes and infection through active interactive and discussion segments between students, scientists and clinicians. This conference helped microbiologists, public health workers, drug and vaccine developers and as well as policy makers by providing them with updated knowledge encompassing emerging microbes and infections.
  • CIIMS Research Lab organized Society For Neurochemistry India (SNCI) first half yearly Executive committee meeting at CIIMS 4th Floor conference hall on 10th February 2018. Before the meeting, inaugural ceremony was conducted at third floor conference hall in which the second SNCI Newsletter was released by all the respected dignitaries.
  • A blood collection camp was conducted on 07/01/18 at Hazaripahad, Nagpur for screening Zoonotic infections under ICMR funded Zoonotic project. Dr. Amit Nayak, Dr. Aliabbas Husain, Ms. Nidhi Bhartiya, Ms. Pooja Kishnani, Ms. Prerna Khobragade and Ms. Sheena Sheikh were involved in the camp.
  • TB Diagnostic camp (for collection of blood samples) was conducted on 13/01/18 at Samta Nagar, Nagpur to make strong relationship with the different group of different periurban people as we are planning to target periurban areas in the upcoming ICMR Project. Dr. Rajpal Singh Kashyap, Dr. Amit Nayak, Dr. Aliabbas Husain, Ms. Payal Khulkhule, Ms. Prerna Khobragade and Ms. Rima Biswas were involved in the camp.
  • A blood collection camp was conducted on 22/11/17 at Bhidi, Wardha for screening Zoonotic infections. Dr. Amit Nayak, Dr. Aliabbas Husain, Ms. Nidhi Bhartiya, Ms. Payal Khulkhule, Ms. Prerna Khobragade and Mr. Ashwin Butle were involved in the camp.
  • Conducted a blood collection camp at Devlapar for collection of follow up samples of positive patients of Zoonotic infection and for collection of distilled cow urine. Dr. Rajpal Singh Kashyap, Dr. H. F. Daginawala, Ms. Nidhi Bhartiya, Mr. Ashwin Butle, Mr. Jawad Baksh and Ms. Rucha Parsodkar involved in the camp which was held on 3rd August 2017.
  • Organized Lecture series of Dr. Milind Gore on 8th May 2017 for discussion on advance diagnosis of viral CNS infections.
  • Organized Lecture series of Dr.Dilip Gupta to the scientists and Medical faculty of all disciplines (CIIMS) on 13th April 2017.
  • Dr. G. M. Taori�s Central India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bajaj Nagar has organized one day workshop on basic animal cell culture techniques in collaboration with National Institute of Miners Health and Priyadarshini Institute of Engineering and Technology under Central Mine planning and design Institute (CMPDI) project on Monday, 27th March 2017.

Taori Central India Institute of Medical Sciences, Research Centre has organized One Day National Conference SNCI Nagpur Chapter on Zoonotic Diseases and Neuroinfections at NEERI Auditorium on Saturday, August 6, 2016. Scientists from different parts of India are gathered together at Dr. G. M. Taori�s Central India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bajaj Nagar, Nagpur to discuss the issues on Zoonotic diseases, transmitted from animals to humans such as Brucellosis, Listeriosis, Scrub typhus, AES etc and on Neuro-infections like brain tuberculosis (TB), cerebral malaria etc
  • Dr. G.M. Taori Central India Institute of Medical Sciences, Research Centre has organized �Scientists and Clinicians Interaction meet� for the awareness of neglected diseases like Zoonotic and neuro-Zoonotic infections on 25th February Saturday 2017 under the ICMR funded project.   • CIIMS Research Lab organized one day International Conference on “Emerging Microbes and infection and its impact on Public Health” on 9th February 2018 at Hotel Center Point to disseminate the information on emerging microbes and infection through active interactive and discussion segments between students, scientists and clinicians. This conference helped microbiologists, public health workers, drug and vaccine developers and as well as policy makers by providing them with updated knowledge encompassing emerging microbes and infections.

  • TB Diagnostic camp (for collection of blood samples) was conducted on 13/01/18 at Samta Nagar, Nagpur to make strong relationship with the different group of different periurban people as we are planning to target periurban areas in the upcoming ICMR Project.   • A blood collection camp was conducted on 22/11/17 at Bhidi, Wardha for screening Zoonotic infections. Dr. Amit Nayak, Dr. Aliabbas Husain, Ms. Nidhi Bhartiya, Ms. Payal Khulkhule, Ms. Prerna Khobragade and Mr. Ashwin Butle were involved in the camp.
  • Conducted a blood collection camp at Devlapar for collection of follow up samples of positive patients of Zoonotic infection and for collection of distilled cow urine. Dr. Rajpal Singh Kashyap, Dr. H. F. Daginawala, Ms. Nidhi Bhartiya, Mr. Ashwin Butle, Mr. Jawad Baksh and Ms. Rucha Parsodkar involved in the camp which was held on 3rd August 2017.
